Toki-no-Sumika Illuminations in Gotenba

Toki-no-Sumika is the hotel name. It means living place of Time. That hotel is in Gotenba city near by Ashigara city and the foot of Mt. Fuji. In ages of Edo era (1603-1867), Shogun (Samurai master) was staying in Gotenba when he visit Mt. Fuji. “Go” is English “Tne”. “ten” is “palace”, “ba” is “place”. It is a scenic tourist spot that I was able to go to Tokyo or a day trip. The hotel offers a large-scale illumination show to increase the number of guests.
