Ninja

Ninja is famous in worldwide. We sometimes look Ninja as superman or perfect solder in movies. But, real Ninja is a specialist of guerilla war and espionage. They infiltrate to the enemy countries and do subversive activities (political and physical). There are some schools of Ninja. Iga and Koga are two famous schools of Ninja. Iga Ninja is same as mercenary, they say they select their master by the reword. Head temple of Iga is Nabari city in Mie prefecture. Koga Ninja is usually farmer and they work under the same master. Hirshima and Miyajima Shrine

I visited Hiroshima to give a presentation at an academic conference.I think it was 27 years ago in 1990, but I came here for a presentation at an academic conference when I was a student, so this is the second time.At that time, I was a student, so I didn’t have much money for sightseeing, so I stayed until Saturdays and went sightseeing.Hiroshima is famous for the Atomic Bomb Dome, but there is also Miyajima, which is a famous tourist destination.　This huge torii gate was built by Taira Kiyomori, a powerful figure in the 12th century.　The current torii gate is (more…)

Taiwan High Speed Rail

I had a business trip to Taiwan. And I tried to raid Taiwan High Speed Rail. In Japan, Taiwan High Speed Rail is called as “Taiwan Sinkansen” because the train that is called “700T” is an improvement model of Japanese Sinkansen 700 series. The railroad system is made by France and German system. Japanese 700 series has long nose at head car, but 700T has no long nose. The long nose of 700 series is for preventing the roar of train enter to a tunnel. French and German system tunnel has large radius than Japanese system, so an impact when (more…)

Sailing to Wakaura-port

I am a member of Yacht-club in company. Usually, we have a middle distance sailing event in end of March or June. This year’s destination is Wakaura-port (alomost here in every year). About 6 hours sailing to Wakaura-port in Wakayama prefecture from Tajiri-port in Osaka where is in front of Kansai airport. After we arrived to Wakaura-port, we enjoy dinner party. About 30-40 yacht men enjoy drinking liquor and sea food.Mr. Aoki and I. Mr. You Aiki is a famous yacht man, he is a Guiness holder as a man successed to make a round-the-world sailing by minimum size yacht.↓ (more…)

Space world

Space world is a theme park in Kita-Kyusyu city in Fukuoka prefecture. Probably, this is a one of popular theme parks in Kyusyu Island in Japan, but it will be closed in this year end. Other famous theme park Huis Ten Bosch is in Nagasaki prefecture in Kyusyu Island, Ten Bosch is a theme park of Holland and has financial difficulties too, but recently Ten Bosch has many visitors form Asian countries and financial condition becomes well. Holland theme park in Japan maybe funny sounds like a fake park, but visitors will be able to enjoy beautiful Holland gardens and (more…)
