Year-end cleaning

I usually live in Osaka, but I spend the year-end and New Year holidays at my home in Gunma. I go back to Gunma about once every two months to take care of the farmland and clean the house. I have two younger sisters who live in the neighborhood, so she and her husband are helping to maintain it, so we manage to maintain it. Much of the farmland is rented out to people who cultivate it. In the past, I used to grow my own rice and wheat, so it was difficult to go to Gunma frequently. Now I only manage small orchards that (more…)

Kumamoto Castle

Kumamoto Castle is a castle built around 1469 AD in Kumamoto Prefecture on Kyushu Island. The current Kumamoto Castle is a reproduction of Kumamoto Castle around 1600 AD, when Kato Kiyomasa was the castle owner. The original castle tower burned down in 1887 AD and was rebuilt after World War II.The castle grounds, such as the stone walls and the surrounding moat, remain, and are known as very large and impregnable castles. New Year Ekiden

Gunma-chan is the mascot character of my hometown of Gunma Prefecture.He is a horse (pony) because the meaning of Gunma is a herd of horses.It became an animation program from October 2021.アニメ『ぐんまちゃん』オフィシャルサイト (gunmachan-official.jp)Produced in Gunma Prefecture, 1.5million US dollar in taxes were put in as a budget.I have a home in Gunma Prefecture, so I pay taxes to Gunma Prefecture.As a taxpayer, I wonder if I make anime with taxes.
