A different course meal was served for 4 nights and I enjoyed it. The fifth night went back to the beginning. Ikeda-ya shouten Beef bowl and Pork bone soup dumplings in Fukuoka.

Fukuoka Prefecture is famous for its delicious food.As of 2023, the hot meal is Ikeda Shoten’s gyoza cooked with beef bowl and pork bone soup. MOTEGI drive-in

MOTEGI Drive-in is the ancient drive-in Gumma prefecture.Google map : 茂木ドライブイン – Google マップThis drive-in is located on a general road (loophole) from Gunma Prefecture to Lake Suwa in Nagano Prefecture. Even if a modern Japan looks at it, its appearance does not seem modern. It has a style that seems to have existed since before World War II.If we use the expressway from Isesaki City to Lake Suwa, it is 212 km.But with this loophole you can go in 140 km. Osechi cuisine in 2023

Osechi means changing days of season in Japan. These days are ceremonies days and eats special foods in Japan. January is called as “Shougatsu” and the Spring season is starting form 1/1 in Japan.  In Asia other than Japan, spring begins around February. It adopts the change of seasons according to the lunar calendar. Therefore, it is impossible for the New Year of Japan = the beginning of spring. Still cold. It was winter and there was no sign of spring. SHIMONITA negi (green onion)

SIMONITA is city name in GUMNMA prefecture.  Famous production area of green onion. Thicker and shorter than ordinary green onion. The bottom is ordinary green onion and the top is SHIMONITA green onion.  Osaka, where I live now, is 600km away from Gunma, so SHIMONITA green onion have never been sold at the store.I was surprised to see that it was sold at a shop in Osaka. I have purchased and eaten.Green onions are an indispensable ingredient in Japanese hot pot dishes.Thick SHIMONITA green onions are worth eating.Occasionally, this green onion is used for jokes.Dirty joke is “SHIMONETA” in Japanese.
