Osaka city museum

I went Osaka city-museum in Osaka Tannouji.This museum is in a Tanouji park, it is a just time in cherry blossom seasen. the Tower in picture is Tsuten-kaku, this is a symbol of Osaka.City museum bulding, it is old artistic building. I went here to looking a picture, but of course, I can’t take a picture.When I have visit France, we can take picture also the Louvre museum. Japan has an difference stance with France, I think. this is “Harukas”, it is the higest bulding in Japan and new symbol of Osaka. Many of people in Tokyo don’t know this (more…)

A Happy New Year 2017 ! Slime King appeared!

I often encounter strange objects on the way between Gumma and Osaka.　(because the way is 350 miles distance) When I passed Gyoda city in Saitama prefecture, Slime King appeared.. First snow in this season @ Mt. Fuji

I usually stay some days nearby Mt. Fuji in a year because the highway between Osaka and my hometown Gumma prefecture pass nearby Mt. Fuji. In this year, when we arrived to Hotel, it was rainy day, a receptionist said that “it maybe get clear sky in tomorrow morning in short time. You maybe look Mt. Fuji.” Because I said “In last time, it was rainy day I couldn’t look Mt. Fuji”, he said newest weather information to me. I wanted to believe his saying but rain is little hard. Rice Cake – 2016

I and my sister families ware pounding steamed rice into the dough used for rice cakes. MOCHI-TSUKI! Rice is steamed by wooden fire. Recently, Japanese home bakery machine has a feature for automatically cooking of rice cake. So, almost of Japanese home cooking rice cake by this feature. Almost of Japanese experience cooking rice cake by the mortar in festival or something of event. Every year we are cooking rice cake by the mortar and hammer in home, this is very rare in present day. Many Japanese are eating rice every day, but rice for cake is different kind of (more…)
