Osaka city museum

I went Osaka city-museum in Osaka Tannouji.This museum is in a Tanouji park, it is a just time in cherry blossom seasen. the Tower in picture is Tsuten-kaku, this is a symbol of Osaka.City museum bulding, it is old artistic building. I went here to looking a picture, but of course, I can’t take a picture.When I have visit France, we can take picture also the Louvre museum. Japan has an difference stance with France, I think. this is “Harukas”, it is the higest bulding in Japan and new symbol of Osaka. Many of people in Tokyo don’t know this (more…)

La-La port Expo-city

La-La port Expo-city is a large outlet market mall in Osaka. The place is a site of Osaka Expo in 1970. This outlet mall has much clothing stores and restaurants. However the most epoch-making store is GUNDAM café. GUNDAM café is animation GUNDAM’s goods shop and snack bar shop. GUNDAM shop isn’t in west side of Japan. Only AKIHABARA and ODAIBA in Tokyo have GUNDAM café before opens this shop in Expo-city. ODAIBA is famous it has 1/1 scale GUNDAM RX-78 real grade model (18.2m height). Universal Studio Japan (OSAKA)

Universal Studio Japan is theme park of Universal Studio in Osaka. I am living in Osaka, so I have been visiting several times in a year. When the park is starting, attractions are smoothing, it isn’t crowded. First park attraction were about old movies that young person and child don’t know, like “Back to the future”, “Jaws” and “Water World”. But several years ago, they started using Japanese animation and game characters, then visitor is increasing and now it became a popular theme park than Tokyo Disney Resort. Ajigawa river and Warehause

Azigawa is a river in Osaka, Osaka is a mercantile city and has many canals. Tokyo city also had much canals but almost of them are filled and became roads. Japanese “— hori” or “—bori” means there place was canal. My name is “Yokobori”, this means a trench in English and technical term of castle building, not a canal. Osaka has a famous river “Yokobori” too, probably no relation. The warehouse in picture is on my commuter way. It is Sumitomo’s warehouse, so this large warehouse is standing for ling time in front of Azigawa canal. In Sunset time, this (more…)
